One thing wedding photographers know about planning a wedding is that it is full of stress. Matter of fact I’m planning my own as I write this post. It took me awhile to finally get Joanne and Brent out for their engagement shoot because of their conflicting work schedules and their prior wedding planning commitments but once I got them away from it all and they were relaxed and enjoyed just being in each others arms it was pure magic…
We ended up shooting first at this runners pathway right out side of the town of Kailua which had an amazing view of the Ko’olau mountain range in the background with a very green marshland in the foreground. Then we headed over to Kailua beach where beach goers were starting to pack up because of the rain clouds heading our way. We were able to sneak in a hand full of shots prior to the rain forcing us to call it a day. Its okay though because their wedding is next month and we’ll have a ton of more opportunities to capture these two as their day has finally arrived. Can’t wait to shoot at the Hale Koa Hotel because that’s where I’m having our wedding reception!
