I haven’t had much sleep lately…1-2 hour naps a few times a day to be more accurate and I refused to book any weddings this month enlarge to the fact that my wife was originally due to give birth two days from now therefore I wont have anything new up on this wall until February. So I’ve been doing a lot of reflection in my spare time when I’m not changing diapers filled with poop that smells like the Odwalla Super Food Drink.
8 months ago Mel and I found out we were expecting a baby. We kept it as our own little secret as the news came towards the end of our wedding planning with around a month to go before we got married. For Mel, it was hard to keep it a secret when the very white dress she would wear would cause the very symptoms that she was experiencing during the early stages of her pregnancy. Lucky we got through our amazing wedding day without a hitch and finally shared to the world we were in the process of having a baby. As the months passed by we would experience good times and bad times. Seeing our little one grow through ultra-sounds and hearing her heartbeat for the first time were definitely the highlights of the pregnancy. We decided to name her Zoey, after the character played by Rashida Jones in the movie “I Love you Man.” It was a beautiful name that means “Life” and we liked the fact that it’s not a very common name.
