Timeless Hale Koa Hotel Wedding Photo from the Maile Garden – Joanne & Brent

It’s been a crazy past month here in the islands and in the world and I’m truly blessed to be a wedding photographer here in Hawaii. If you haven’t seen the news lately, on March 11, 2011 Japan had been rattled by a massive 9.o magnitude earthquake resulting in tsunami waves reaching 124ft in height traveling as far inland as six miles. Towns destroyed seen on national television, fatalities, missing people and people left homeless hit the hearts of everyone. Living in Hawaii which has a lot of Japanese influence, we’ve all been really affected by all the events occurring in Japan. As we continue to pray for them, please take a second to Donate to the Red Cross Japan Relief Effort. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!!!

With quite a bit rain pouring down throughout the week and all the events going in the news, Joanne and Brent’s wedding was that ray light that I and a lot other people had been waiting for.  Nothing but sunshine and beautiful day it turned out to be in Oahu. Since the bride and groom were getting ready at separately my guys Travis, Jason, and I started off the day at separate hotels, met up later at Hale Koa Hotel’s Maile Garden where the happy couple tied the knot, and topped off the day with a VERY fun reception at Hale Koa Hotel’s Banyan Tree Showroom. Joanne’s ever so vibrant smile and the love both of their families showed made for such a memorable wedding…CONGRATS AGAIN JOANNE & BRENT!
